Robin looked down at her schedule to check what the room number for her 2nd period science class was.
"2nd Period - Mrs. Green - Science - Room 3303" the schedule read.
She started making her way down the hallway towards the room, but decided that since she had about 5 minutes she should probably make a stop at her locker and drop of a couple of the textbooks because they were really heavy. While she was dropping off some of her things in her locker, she noticed a note fall out of her notebook. she unfolded the note, and read it aloud in her head.
"Yes." the mysterious note said.
Did Aaron write this? Did someone else accidentally drop it in her bag? Does this mean that she actually does, indeed, know Aaron?
So many questions were buzzing through Robins head. Who is Aaron, really? Robin knew that she had to figure that out if she wanted her mind to be at peace.
She stuffed the note into the back pocket in her jeans and slammed her locker shut and continued on towards her science room. Robin carefully avoided a chocolate milk spill on the floor and then finally reached the classroom, still with about 2 minutes to spare.
The room was still about half empty, leaving her with plenty of seat options. She decided the to attract the least amount of attention, the back of the room would be an ideal place for her to sit, so she made her way to the back.
Robin pulled her things out of her bag and set them on her desk, still thinking about the "one-worded note" that she received.
So many questions were still going through her head, but she knew that the only logical answer would be that the note was from Aaron, and somehow he undetectably stuck it  into her backpack when she must have not been looking.
She had been thinking so hard about it that she didn't even notice when Gray sat down right beside her.
"Hey Robin." He happily exclaimed, "I didn't know you took 11th grade science!"
Robin couldn't even think of the words to say, it seemed like everything she did felt foreign to her and even simple body functions were impossible around him.
"What is wrong with me?" She thought to herself, "Talk to him, Robin, Talk to him!"
"Oh, yeah. I'm pretty good at science." She said grinning like an idiot.
Before he got a chance to reply, the teacher walked into the room to begin class.
"Everyone! Take your seats please!" Mrs. Green yelled, "Please take out a pencil and a piece of paper."
Mrs. Green began to wildly jot down notes on the board, expecting us to copy them down. If Robin made a "Top-10-Things-In-The-World-That-Annoy-Me-List", copying down notes would definitely be in the first couple things.
After copying down 2 full pages of notes, Robin glanced over at Gray to see that he had been staring at her. Robin quickly looked away, a bit self consciously, and began writing more notes. After about half a page more, a piece of folded paper fell onto her desk. She unfolded it and read, "So are we still on for lunch today?" She read silently to herself.
"Yeah." She scribbled back.
She looked over to see his perfectly white teeth, his perfect smile that made her melt. She couldn’t help but smile back, then the bell rang.“Just a few more classes until lunch,” she happily thought to herself.
